Two weeks of inseperable partying have given way to high profile uninvitations (is that a word?). I think the biggest factor is Britneys waning popularity and plummeting respectability. Paris was trying to have a symbiotic relationship. She probably educated Britney about the value of turning every waking moment into a paid appearance. If the people footing the bill to have Paris darken their door had been happy to pay for Britney's presence, the friendship might have continued.
