HDTV Has Definitely Arrived

This is a sponsored post.

I think a lot of people who have so far put off getting a home theatre because they were waiting to see what was going to change with technology are realizing that things have gotten just about as good as they are ever going to get. Texas Instruments recently developed something called DLP technology. With Digital Light Processing, the image is created by microscopically small mirrors. The rapid repositioning of the mirrors allows variation in the intensity of the light reflected through the lens. Basically, you get a really good picture. Look at the example pictures on the page for the HDTV DLP 1080p 56' HL-S5687W Samsung and see for yourself.

These HDTV Screens are becoming more affordable as well. Bestgiftshopper.com features many of the biggest and best Brand Name HDTV's, including this huge Mitsubishi.

Back when Big Screen was the be all and end all before anyone was even imagining HDTV, I knew a guy who lived in a mobile home that had to have carpenters come and remove the sheathing and part of the frame of his home so he could get the TV that he had bought inside. I can only assume that when he moved a few year later he had to repeat the process. I would suggest that you measure your doors and hallways and such before you go out and buy any huge electronics.
