Whitening is a cosmetic procedure that is generally for adults who make an informed decision. The story adds that Britney was not adhering to current dental care advice for children. Juice in a bottle at night is bad.
I guess the worst way to interpret this story is that Britney was asking to have a professional kind of sweep the results of her poor childcare under the proverbial rug. That is not good.
