You often hear about people with addictive personalities replacing one addiction with another. There are reports of Britney Spears making a surprising number of online shopping transactions while in rehab. Oh, this reminds me, has there been any official comment on what addictions Britney is trying to deal with? I can only assume that the focus of the Britney camp will be on the legal, socially acceptable one, alcohol.
Back to the shopping, if Britney does get into extreme shopping it might be a very long time before it becomes problematic. I hear she has a lot of money. The shopping is practically a non-issue, it was less than $1,000. And she just had a baby, she is probably changing shape and needs new clothes.
