I don't know if I have ever seen a more far removed ex-boyfriend get more press in relation to an ex-girlfriend. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears have never even lived together.
Tommy Lee has children with Pam and had sex with her ocassionally after their divorce and he doesn't get as much press as Justin. Oh, that's right Justin is still relatively young and attractive and he has a career.
Mr. Cohen, whose first name actually escapes me, dated Britney more recently and his bragging only gets him a little bit of press.
I guess there is a core audience who had idealized the Britney and Justin relationship, and while the idealism is long gone, the idea at least lives on.
