TMZ is pretty much the leader of the pack. They inexplicably started using photos and copy that make Britney look good. That's not to say that she doesn't look good. But when an editor chooses from hundreds of exposures, there are always a few awkward and/or disturbing shots.
Cameron Diaz is in the midst of a feud with the tabloids and it is rumored that they ONLY print bad pics of her.
Back a few decades ago, those pantiless car entries of Brit's would have never even been printed let alone published.
