Little Sister Don't You Do What Your Big Sister Done

I hope the report of another pregnant Spears is false. Sixteen is too young to start having children. The alternative is also something that has a longterm negative effect on a girl. Her family seems to have no shortage of denial, maybe Jamie Lynn was using denial or magical thinking as a form of birth control. Statistically speaking, these are the least effective form of birth control.

Britney is NOT OK

OK Magazine had a golden opportunity on the form of an exclusive interview and photo shoot with Britney Spears.

Britney made it impossible for them to make her look good. It is not a good sign that they have chosen to publicize the event for what it was rather than burning the tapes and the negatives and hoping to get another exclusive on a better day. I worry that they have concluded that there will be no better days for the former queen of pop.

They are going to publish the pictures which are rumored to be ghastly. She let her 'friends' do her hair and makeup and she had fried chicken smears on her dress.

PriceForSure.com has Live Web-TV

This is my re-creation of the World's first infommercial.

The video on this post is not what you will see on PriceForSure.com.

Their live webcasts feature great presenters like Chris Miller and Farmer D.

It doesn't matter what product or service is being sold, I am routinely drawn in by the immediacy and gravitas of a live presenter. When they are using knives, even more so.

Lindsay Lohan Worse Than Britney?

Well, we should look at this empirically.

Lindsay reached what may well be rock bottom at a much younger age. She had some help from her awful parents.

She has a fairly successful movie career, but movie careers aren't as durable as musical stardom. You can't release a best of compilation of your movies and you can't get any seven figure contratcs if nobody wants to work with you. People had been scrambling to help Britney put out an album even though she was hardle even marginally functional. It's pop music. Being realy famous trumps talent in a lot of cases.

Lindsay has one thing going for her over Britney, she is not rigidly in denial all the time.

Provincetown Live!

I like to pick Mayflowers for my mother in the spring when I can. I occasionally think about the ship of the same name that brought people to a new world and a new way of life hundreds of years ago. My mother is very keen on geneology and, if I am not mistaken she has traced one line back to the Mayflower. The bulk of my ancestors left England much later and settled in New England and Canada.

Provincetown is the landing place of the Mayflower. And it is a vibrant community today. Its past, present and future find a voice on the website ProvincetownLive.net.

Provincetown is a popular gay vacation destination. I personally did not know that until I went to ProvincetownLive.net. One of the bars has a revue or some such thing called The Bare Naked Lads. I once saw a drag king lip syncing the BNL. That was um, interesting. I'm not gay myself but I kind of enjoy going to areas that cater to the gay community because they tend to be accepting and open in a broader sense as well. If you on a road trip on the eastern seaboard, you can access all the dining, entertainment and accomodation info with your mobile phone at http://ptownlive.net.

I Vote For Dignity

Britney Spears should call her new album Dignity. That is one of the choices presented to her fans as part of a members only poll. I think I actually joined the fan club or the mailing list or something once. Whatever it was it must have been free, I think you have to pay to join the fan club.

Anyway, I think she should do a cover of the song Dignity by Bob Dylan. This performance is about seven minutes long. That's longer than most of Britney's recent lip sync sessions.

Ride The Rails in Europe

Do not make the assumption that the existence of the European Union translates to some kind of perfectly unified rail transportation system. If you are planning to experience Europe, you need to educate yourself with regards to how Rail Passes work. RailShopper.com is a good place to start. Depending on your plans, you may wish to purchase a selection of single country passes, or it might make more sense to buy a multiple country rail pass.

I have not traveled extensively in Europe, but I work with a Roman dude who has. His experiences with rail travel have generally been positive. There is a Eurorail Pass that is valid for a number of countries, check the following list of countries against your travel plans to see if it is the right pass for you.

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

RailShopper.com is a great place to check pricing and schedules for European rali travel.

Britney Buys a Puppy, Outrage Ensues

I am always perplexed when people are vocally outraged by someone buying a puppy, but they don't make the same noise about people making babies.

I guess the biggest issue here is that when you buy a puppy from a pet store you are supporting an industry that inflicts cruelty on animals in the pursuit of profits. When you buy a dog from a registered kennel, the conditions under which they are kept is monitored by an outside body.

Personally, I wouldn't even trust Britney with a Tamagotchi.

This Guy has Your Hot Tub Covered

I had never really thought about the different extremes of weather to whic hot tubs get exposed. When I saw a photo on the front page of TheCoverGuy.com showing a Spa Cover with several inches of snow, I realized how important a good quality, heavy duty cover must be in some regions. The Cover Guy has three different classes of cover that can be custom built to fit your tub.

The store also has all kinds of accessories to help you maintain and enjoy your spa. When I am reviewing online stores, I always look for the cool stuff. What I found here were LED lights that you can use to create special lighting effects in your hot tub. They fit into the standard bulb housing and you can choose from 10 different colors and effects.

No Britney Spears Album Release

I predict that there will never be another Britney Spears album. Ever.

Somebody should really talk the girl into doing a boxed set while she still has the public's interest. How much material is there when you include albums, videos, concerts footage, television specials etc.

She needs to face up to the fact that the ride is over and work on being the best regular person that she can be. All the people who say good things about Kevin Federline need a reality check. He was on a ride of his own while he was married to Britney. I think he was completely complicit in her denial.

Drug Rehab is Awesome

An addiction treatment directory and referral service can help people who are in need of a drug rehab program for themselves or somebody that they love.

Rehabs.biz offers such a service and it also has current items related to Drug Rehab and Addiction Treatment News.

The failure of certain high profile drug rehab participants should not discourage people in need. Britney Spears fortifies her denial with the kind of friends that you can buy. Acceptance is one of the most important steps toward recovery.

Britney Has Reportedly Made Changes to Her Will

I think that a people around Britney need to be concerned for her safety. Reports that she is changing her will to prevent her mom from getting custody of her children and money from her estate are surfacing. I suspect it is an act of rebellious spite and that it has very little to do with the welfare of the children. Then again, if Britney's present state of mind can be attributed to her upbringing in any way, the kids might be better off in someone else's hands.

What really concerns me is that Britney is thinking a lot about the event of her death. That is a red flag that should have people worried about a possible suicide attempt/

Kevin Federline is Looking Out for His Kids

The agreement that was made between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline concerning ALL aspects of their marriage was apparently signed by Kevin after assurances from Britney related to her behavior.

Kevin Federline has indicated that, now that Britney is continuing to binge on nightlife and everything that it entails, he does not wish to abide by the terms of the agreement. Specifically, he wants to have more care and control over the two children. More specifically, he wants Britney to have LESS.

Math Tutoring From Score

I am generally fairly anonymous when I blog here. However I thought that this particular blog would be a good place to plead with parents to take an interest in the education of their children.

I have three young teens at home and this past school year I found it very hard to help them with their math homework. I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent, but I could not figure out some new concepts. The math tutors at a Score Learning Center might come in really handy next year. My eldest son has been receiving math tutoring during the school year that just ended. I am keeping my fingers croessed along with him as we wait for the exam results in the mail.

Britney Smokes Cigarettes

Powered by AOL Video

Britney Spears likes a good cancer stick when she can manage to light them. I apologize if this AOL video loads as slow for you as it does for me.

People used to make a big deal about female pop stars setting a bad example for their fans by smoking. These days it's hard to think of one who isn't smoking and drinking and doing various other questionable activities.

USA Network's Burn Notice Is Awesome

If anybody really does have a time travel device, it is probably in the hands of the CIA by now. Whaa???

USA Network's Burn Notice features Michael Weston, a CIA Operative, who gets fired. Except when you are out of the CIA it's more than just a dismissal. He is going to be faced with the difficult task of getting back in the Spy Game without all the technology and resources that he had come to rely on at the agency. Add to that the fact that the CIA is putting those same resources into an effort to keep him down, even if that means killing him.

I think one of the most effective spy tools is an uprooted bush. You can hide behind it and move toward your objective, stopping only when you suspect that you are being watched. In the unlikely event that the person under surveillance sees through your ingenious bush device, you need to have a backup. I recommend that you wear a standard issue combination dark rimmed glasses/big nose/mustache device. That way, even if they approach you, you can effectively conceal your identity.

I would assume that someone who has been given a burn notice might have a hard time getting access to a bullet proof vest. One US soldier got his 15 minutes of fame when his iPod stopped a bullet. You could get one of those fishing vests with all the pockets and fill them with every small brand name electronic device that you can find. Ducking behind a car is another great defnse against gunfire. For best results, use someone else's car.

If you haven't figured it out yet, I am not a very good spy. You should get a sneak peek at Burn Notice to see how a real out of work expert does it,

There's a New Kid in Town

It's not enough that Shakira was going around the World actually singing at concerts and selling lots of records and topping the charts. Now she is moving into territory that Britney Spears thought she had the top spot in...partying in LA.

Somebody writing for TMZ even compared the fashion choices of the two pop stars. To make things even worse, she is being all functional. Something tells me that Shakira probably has her manager do a bit a research to help minimize the chance of bumping into Britney.

Paparazzi Ask Britney to Give Them a Break

***This is Satire***

I'm not sure how Google works with these Satire labels on the news items. I would like to be important enough to get on Google News with my silly take on what is going on. If they give me one of those Satire labels, I promise that I will always use Satire.

The real stor
y is that Britney drove across town to where she knew the Paparazzi were staked out trying to get pictures of Mandy Moore.

Live and Learn

Not too many years ago, I had the opinion that I had learned all that I needed to know about math. I could do everything that I needed to do in my life and work with the knowledge and skills that I received in schools and also through experience.

I have recently had a big wake up call, and it is coming from my kids. I have two that are 13 and one that is 15. Sometimes they ask me for help with their math homework and I simply don't understand it. The 15 year old has a math tutor and she has difficulty with the way math is being taught in the schools today. The Math Tutors at SCORE Learning Centers have programs for kids aged 4 to 14 that reflect the way math is being taught now. They can help your kids get good grades. I was researching some education issues online and I found some fraught meeting minutes involving parents that were really upset about how their kids were being taught math at school. SCORE was actually mentioned in the text because many of the concerned parents were sending their kids to SCORE because they felt that the public school curriculum was inadequate.

Britney Is Faking Her Dysfunctionality

Britney Is Faking Her Dysfunctionality. This just dawned on me as I was preparing to make fun of her. You see, I haven't been able to effectively make fun of her for months because her mental state is SO TRAGIC. Most human beings that have even a shred of decency are in the same boat.

We are playing right into her hands. She is shutting down the funny with her transparent denial and her opaque panties. Luckily for me, I have finally seen through her translucent scheme. Pretend to be tragic all you want Britney, I am still going to make fun of you, unless you find Jesus. I would have to stop then.

ItsaBullsEye.com: Cheap Checks

ItsaBullsEye.com is a source for cheap checks for personal or business use. You can save a lot of money on 3-per-page layout checks, side-stubbed desk sets, and computer checks designed to be compatible with many popular accounting programs.

I wonder how big your business should be before it makes sense to print checks out on the computer? I can get by with filling mine out by hand. It would be cool to have a custom design. ItsaBullsEye.com has lots to choose from when it comes to check designs. You can get licensed graphics ranging from Sesame Street to Harley Davidson. I can imagine it would be appropriate to pay bills with Oscar the Grouch checks.

Kevin Federline And Britney Spears Could Get Back Together

Personally, I think the tabloids and gossip sites are desperate because they can't get more than a day or two of stories out of the occasional inadvertent exposure of a body part or two. For a few days I thought that she was finally doing what I have said she needs to do over and over again, leave LA, and stay away from Vegas.

But the top Britney gossip today is her supposed intimation of a reunion with her ex-husband. Yeah, right.

Deals on Dells from CouponChief

I really like the way the Coupon Chief website works. They feature a lot of the best retailers out there and there are incredible deals to be had. Check out the dell coupons. I have trusted Dell as a supplier of computers for several years.

Other retailers featured on Coupon Chief include Home Depot and Shoe Mall.

Dell is my favorite source of coupons, there are always great deals to be had on computers. I'm not a gamer or anything, so I don't feel like I need the ultimate latest computer, just something that works well. That generally means getting a great deal on a basic model from Dell.

Ex Friend Paris Hilton: Britney's Take on Things

Actually, Britney isn't saying anything about Paris Hilton, good or bad, as far as I know. I have noticed a lot of ex friends of Paris choose to not say anything at all. It has me wondering if Paris makes a point of having the kind of shared experiences that no celebrity wants to talk about.

Jamie Lee Curtis has publicly blamed the mothers of Paris, Britney and Lindsay Lohan for their troubles. I don't entirely disagree.

Night Vision

Night vision goggles can be used to look at nocturnal animals and people that have their clothes on. In fact, night vision is a technology that owes most of its development to the Army. But just like Hummers and automatic weapons, regular citizens are eager to reap the benefits of military technology.

OpticsPlanet carries night vision equipment manufactured by ATN, Yukon, Bushnell, Trijicon, Weaver, Aimshot, Insight Technology, and ITT. ITT has contracts with the US Army. Optics Planet ships via UPS and you don't pay shipping with orders over $29.95 that are destined to Military APO/FPO addresses. Night vision capabilities can make you feel more secure when walking in dark areas.

Diane Sawyer is to Blame

I think television interviewer Diane Sawyer is the person that irrevocably BROKE Britney Spears way back in 2003. After her direct questions cracked the veneer that so many people knew and loved as the real fake Britney Spears it was all ineffective damage control after that. Kevin Federline is a symptom, not a disease.

This Zit Popping Game is just WRONG

These days, doctors advise that popping a pimple is not an effective solution or treatment for the problem of pimples. Squezzing them can actually cause more to grow back later.

Oh, yeah and it's also really gross. If you suffer from severe acne, you should be aware that there are now effective drugs that are taken internally. Girls who are at risk of becoming pregnant should not take these as there is a risk of birth defects. Usually birth control is prescribed in conjunction with the acne treatment.

Bid4Prizes.com Rocks!!!

I wish I had thought of Bid4Prizes, it is such a cool concept. The website has really popular prizes up for grabs and the twist is that the lowest bid wins the prize. So this is a bit of a hard thing to grasp until you think about it for a minute. The site works like an auction site except the product goes to the lowest unique bid. I would like to see the statistics on a few of these auctions. There must be thousands of people who bid one cent, thinking to themselves that nobody else will bid that because they will think that everybody else will bid that. Sorry for making your head hurt.

Bid4Prizes.com has cash and cars and all that exciting stuff, but I just got hooked when I saw the Kayak that is going to be awarded in a few days.

The Pleather Hat Gang

Despite the degree to which Britney Spears has ceased to be a plausible role model, young image-obsessed girls still take fashion cues from her and others like her.

Or it may be possible that a jaded, slightly evil marketing machine puts that crap in the stores and kids just like to buy stuff.

I occasionally have to pick pleather hats up off the floor of my child's room. I know what I am talking about. When your kids are dressing in layers to go out with their friends even though it's 26 degrees Celsius outside should be a hint that they have an inside layer of clothing that you might not approve of.

8-HR Energy Pills

Energy drinks are becoming very popular. Most of them contain water, sugar, caffeine and some herbal extracts that have an impact on alertness.

Paying a premium for the water when all you really want is the active ingredients doesn't make much sense. Also, you don't really need all that sugar. You can now get pills that are a blend of caffeine and herbs that act in a synergistic way to give you a great energy boost. I don't know if you have read the warnings on RedBull cans, in some countries you are warned against consuming more than 500ml per day. If you choose to Get More Energy When YOU Order Mr Energy 8-HR energy pills!, you should follow directions carefully. 400 mg of caffeine is considered to be a safe daily dose.

Student Hands in Britney Letter In English Lit. Class

A student in Lancestershire, Maine blatantly plagarized the 880 word letter penned by Britney Spears. The professor of his creative writing class though it was the most brilliant satire he had ever seen. He gave it an A-. It would have been an A+, but she used the wrong your a few times. Your going to have to expect that in this day and age. I actually expect the contraction for you are to be changed to simply your when the OED is next updated. NOOB will be included as a real word then to.

Mint Credit Cards, Curiously Low Interest Rates

If you are considering your options as you prepare to apply for a credit card, you should take a fresh look at Mint credit cards. Besides having a typically attractive introductory offer, they also have just recently lowered their typical APR.

I am going to just run through a random list of good points about this card. You get 24 hour customer service. Your card will be recognized at 24 million location around the World, anywhere you see the Mastercard sign. You do not have to pay any annual fee. You get a cool unique looking card, it's the only card available in a non-standard shape in the UK. You get an additional card to share with someone close to you.

Britney Writes an 800 Word Essay

I am not going to reprint the 880 words that are addressed to her fans on Britney's Official Website. The first thing I did was save the whole thing. I know that there is somebody in the organization that is building up the courage so suggest it's removal from the site.

The letter is offers a wealth of telling phrases. Britney is in total denial about things, she refuses to take any responsibility.

I think she may be a bit better of than she was the last time she wrote a big letter. At least she actually talks about her kids in this one.

If the letter is gone and you NEED to know what it says, leave a comment and I'll consider publishing it.

Aapka has Great Video Content

I personally think that many scenes out of Bollywood are sexier than American movies or music videos. The constraints of the censorship in that particular market have resulted in some very inventive approaches to conveying sensuality.

If you like watching selected clips of Bollywood, whether it's for the steamy parts or the ROFLMAO funny bits, AapkaVideo.com is the place to find them. It is site with free video uploading that caters to the Indian and South Asian market.

As an incentive to users, Aapka is awarding an iPod to the users with each month's most viewed video.

I would personally recommend checking out some of the music videos on this site. If you are watching American television you are being spoon fed homogenized, pureed wonderbread. It's time you went out for some Indian food.

Tomorrow is Talk Like Bob Dylan Day!!!

May 24th is B day for old Bob. Britney has been known to do impressions. Maybe she could actually lip sync to one of Dylan's classics at a show tomorrow night.

She was workin in a topless place
And I stopped in for a beer,
I just kept lookin at the side of her face
In the spotlight so clear.
And later on as the crowd thinned out
Is just about to do the same,
She was standing there in back of my chair
Said to me, dont I know your name?
I muttered somethin underneath my breath,
She studied the lines on my face.
I must admit I felt a little uneasy
When she bent down to tie the laces of my shoe,
Tangled up in blue.

Father's Day Gifts

I always ask to just have a day off from my responsibilities as my father's day gift. After seeing the Father's Day Gifts that are available at DelightfulDeliveries.com I may change my mind and ask for some stuff. The gift basket in the picture has sauces and beverages that are flavoured with some of the most popular liquors, like Jack Daniels.

How about a membership to the BEER OF THE MONTH club?

Personally, I have decided on my beer brand at this point. I'd rather have a big shipment of brownies. I guess my belly will expand with either gift. It's the thought that counts.

Another YouTube Experiment

This is pretty random. I think it falls under fair use parameters. I will find out soon enough I guess.

In a related topic, I always thought the Bare Naked Ladies were exaggerating when they made Yoko Ono noises. I heard and old recording recently and it turns out they were doing a dead on impression.

Free Advice that is Worth Something

Elizabeth Potts Weinstein is a serious financial How To Guru. Right now, she is giving her expert advice away for free in a Special Report.

You can go to www.TheWealthSpa.com to get a free copy of How to Avoid the Top 10 Money Mistakes.

As a bonus you get a free subscription to Elizabeth's weekly eZine, Prosper!

Elizabeth's main goal is helping women achieve their most important life goals. She does this through a variety of media, like eBooks and teleclasses.

Britney Spears Off A Plane

This story is so simple to report. Britney was on a plane that was preparing for takeoff. She decided that she did not want to go on that flight. The reason that she gave was that there were no leather seats on the plane. This could be the reason or it could be the first thing that she thought of as a fake reason. Because she felt that the media would try to make a story out of whatever she had as a real reason.

I am glad that she was allowed to get off.

There is no word as to whether Samuel Jackson was on the flight.

A DUI Lawyer That Wins

If you live a lifestyle where there is even the remotest chance that you will be stopped by the police and charged with a DUI offense, you should have the name and number of a good lawyer on hand ahead of time. Getting legal counsel as quickly as possible is vital to getting the best possible outcome for yourself. This San Diego DUI Lawyer has a victory page
that highlights the best case scenarios that really do happen. They only happen when you receive the best defense. Keep in mind that in the face of a properly carried out arrest, victory can have a few different meanings. If you were undeniably over the legal limit for blood alcohol, you may consider yourself lucky to stay out of jail and keep your driver's license.

What this lawyers website delves into is the many arguments that can be made concerning the validity of that number they come up with for your blood alcohol at the time. People have walked away from a case because the lawyer was able to point to fresh paint in the room where a breath test was given as a possible contaminant.

Having a word with your lawyer as soon as possible after you are detained can help you avoid accidentally saying or doing things that jeopardize your case as well.

Nightclub Injuries

People drink alcohol when they are out at clubs. Alcohol is a drug that affect the central nervous system and can impair balance and judgment. You can even lose consciousness after drinking an excessive amount of alcohol.

I think they should start designing rooms to reduce the incidence of injuries related to clubbing. The basement bar concept is a pretty good idea, falling up stairs on your way out is much less serious than falling down stairs.

Sorting Through Credit Card Offers

I get quite a few unsolicited credit card offers. I can only imagine how many offers come to someone who is more enthusiastic about buying stuff.

I got my first credit card before the deluge of unsolicited mail started arriving. I don't know if my financial activities somehow triggered all the credit card offers or if everybody is getting them now. I actually have all that stuff coming to a post office box that my mother-in-law checks for us. She has a wood stove at her house so she doesn't mind all the extra mail.

So if you are younger than me and you don't already have a few cards, you might be wondering what you need to know before applying for a card. CardGuide.co.uk has some helpful articles including one that has some tips to consider before applying for a credit card. Here is the list, the article links to details about each item. You need to worry about Introductory Rate, Balance Transfers, Annual membership fees, Statement period & interest free loans, APR, Minimum monthly repayments and also Loyalty Programmes.

YouTube Experiment Part 1

Edit: I removed the video. It was very stupid. I just bought a webcam. I am a webcam NOOB.

This short video about nothing with an out of focus body part as a thumbnail got 40 hits in a day. I have videos that I put lots of work into that have fewer hits.

I am going to experiment with various approaches to YouTubing.

Find Cheap Hotels

Using a website like HotelReservations.com to find Cheap Hotels in the cities that you are going to visit is fast and easy. The functionality of the site is impressive. Your first step is to select the language and currency that you want to use when comparing your options. That's an easy decision. After that, you can either browse or do targeted searches for hotels, car rentals, vacation rentals and flights.

I am going to try it out for review purposes, even though I am not going anywhere. I will imagine that I want to go to Vegas in November.

I found a flight to LAS no problem. Several airlines came up on my search, I had it set to show the cheapest on first.

Now for the room. I was totally spoiled for choice with hotels rooms in Las Vegas. I think I will have to find an independent source of review for the cheaper options. I have been disappointed with some cheap hotels in the past. My advice is to look for one that is new or recently remodeled. Also, try to avoid ones that are in the middle of an expansion. They can have signs up everywhere apologizing for my inconvenience, but they don't really make me feel any better about staying there. I actually ended up staying at a hotel that had recently had severe hurricane damage. I a way I was glad to be helping them keep business going as usual, but the hammering kinda sucked.

Next I want to have a car so I can drive up and down the strip trying to get into a scene from 'Cops' or maybe 'CSI'. I think I'll go with Payless. They have really good shoes, so the cars should be alright as well.

I plan to win big in Vegas and upgrade for my return trip. Every search I did on HotelReservations.com gave me a variety of options to choose from.

Tiny Bubbles

How have sales of Cristal been going since the controversy resulting from Jean-Claude Rouzaud's comment made in answer to a question about the unsolicited product placements by rap artists?

“That’s a good question, but what can we do? We can’t forbid people from buying it. I’m sure Dom Pérignon or Krug would be delighted to have their business.”

There were a few artists who went as far as to blur out the labels in videos that had already been made featuring the expensive Champagne.

Some recording artists have reportedly reduced their bubbly intake as a result of recovering from alcoholism rather than boycotting.

Seduce A Celebrity

I am going to try to encapsulate the online reality program Seduce a Celebrity in this first paragraph, because if you are like me, you will click on a link and not come back here for a while. The most important part of the concept is the participation of a desirable woman. Actress Mirelly Taylor has me smitten. I hadn't heard about her until today, but I have been a bit obsessed ever since this morning. I found a great video interview of her with her costar from Kiss Me Again, which I have decided I want to see ASAP. The premise of the show is that any GoFish member can compete for her attention. Users vote on uploaded videos that are made in response to tasks that Mirelly gives out on the program. Eventually SHE will choose from the top three. I like this part, letting voters choose who she dates would be wrong.

I am not going to compete because my heart belongs to another, but Mirelly has captured my imagination at least. If I had a bit more confidence, I would consider uploading some videos related to this show. I would have to bow out gracefully if I was in danger of being chosen. Making women fall in love with me is one of my favorite hobbies, but I only do it at home.

Seduce a Celeb on GoFish.com will come together over the next 14 weeks. Go check out the Free videos at GoFish.com.

Terra Jole is Awesome

This is just a very small sample of what entertainer Terra Jole has to offer.

On behalf of human beings everywhere, I would like to apologize for the rude drunk laughing lady in the vicinity of the cheap camera phone. Terra Jole does not seem to be lip syncing.

Save on Long Distance with Pingo

Fathers Day is coming up, I think I should start blogging about it some so I don't forget. It worked for Mother's Day. If you live in a different country than your father, you are not alone.

I live thousand of miles away from my parents. With Pingo, you can get $10 in Free Fathers Day Calls. Try an call your Dad on that special day. My dad doesn't really like talking on the telephone, but I can certainly get mom to put him on for a moment just to wish him a happy day.

Pingo is a trusted prepaid calling card provider that can be used to save on long distance calls to a lot of different countries. For instance they provide cheap International calling cards to India . The savings are significant and the service is from a trusted and reliable company.

I am going to see what kind of rates I can get for some places that I call frequently...

It looks like I can call Afganistan for less than the price of a cup of coffee. The Afganistan calling card rates on the page may be for comparison purposes only. Pingo can't predict foreign exchange rates.

The Face Of Evil

If you are on the first page of a Google Image search for the word EVIL, you might have to reconsider how you live your life. A photoshopped baby is #1, I believe that he is innocent. Someone who firmly believes in original sin is the Pope. He is on the page along with a few picks of George W Bush, one of Mike Meyers and Verne Troyer...just a second, I have top look at the page again...

Ok, the ranking changed again, Osama's face photoshopped onto the bodies of Mike Meyers and Verne Troyer is the most evil picture. I bet it's creator is quite proud. Pride is a sin, just ask the Pope.

American Greetings for Free

Now is the time to be decisive. If you want the chance to access some free ecards and printable greeting cards from AmericanGreetings.com, you have to act before May 17th.

This Greetings company has loads of great classic card images, truly side splitting joke cards and cards featuring familiar licensed characters from Elvis to Sponge Bob.

To celebrate the redesign of their website, AmericanGreetings.com is holding a special three-day "Free-View" promotion. All of their e-cards, greeting cards, craft projects, wallpapers and screen savers are free up until May 17.

The site normally charges a yearly membership fee for full access. This is a great opportunity to try any of the cards, projects and desktop themes with no obligation.

All they need from you is a valid email address for sending the cards. This site is seriously an all occasion card company. In fact, with an offer like this you might want to send a card to somebody just to say hi.

I already mentioned that the offer is in celebration of the site redesign. This is a major roll out for American Greetings. The navigation is state of the art. There are whole new classes of products. They even have a Find it Quick function. I can remember being in Find it Quick mode before the Internet. I don't miss it.

Crass Exploitation

Peter Coffin is a bad person. He creates short videos that mock some of California's cutest celebrities.

The only video of his that you should watch is the one featuring him kicking himself in the crotch. Watch it over and over again.

Fantasy Football League

Football is America's National obsession. Fantasy Football is obsession squared.

I had no idea that a fantasy football league would have such big prizes. $100,000 for the platinum level grand champion.

The AFFL landing page has a list of the 2006 winners and also a link to a live demo of the draft process. I think that's a great idea to help new registrants get comfortable with the way the contests work. Registration is open for 2007 now. As a nice added touch some winners get a trophy made of authentic Waterford Crystal.

Hats are Back

I have noticed a lot of impressionable young girls are wearing hats these days. If they were more functional and less style oriented, I would say that it was great. We need to protect ourselves from the sun as much as possible with all the harmful UV rays.

If you look at my diagram, you will see that these newsboy caps do not protect the face of the person wearing them as well as other more suitable hats.

Great Tattoo Designs

People get tattoos for a lot of different reasons. They might want to get one as a sort of dedication to a loved one. They might want to symbolize a strongly held belief. They might want to commemorate an important milestone in there life or membership to a group of some kind. Tattoo Designs that reflect these sentiments and many more are available to download from BullsEyeTattoos.com.

I like the storefront at this site. Excluding adult images until the user opts in to viewing them is a responsible move.

When you purchase a design, you get a full size printable version that includes a stencil for the technician to use as a tranfer. I have a shaved head right now and I was considering getting a small tattoo that I would have the option of covering up with hair in case I ever have to get all respectable.

A New Beginning

I had been trying to be consistent with this blog, mostly making posts about Britney Spears and her exploits. I have decided to have a one week break from this topic.

That's right. The Britney Spears News blog is not going to talk about Britney Spears. It's just me doing my own little effort to ease the pressure that the poor girl is under because of all the media scrutiny. Part of me is worried that she will do something really newsworthy. Part of me doesn't care.

Bid Low and Win a Car

I was out for a drive in my old car that I always go on about loving, and it suddenly struke me that nit sounds different than it used to. I started obsessing about what I would do if it just up and died on me.

Maybe I should try to make the lowest bid on the BMW that is on offer at Bid4Prizes, the site where the lowest unique bid gets the prize.

I have only ever had one new car before. It was the least expensive new car that I could possibly get. I liked it. I can only imagine how being the owner of one of the best cars in the World would make me feel.

There are lots of other prizes currently available for bidding right now. Televisions, speaker systems, computer monitors and more. If the concept is baffling you, there is a YouTube video on the site explaining the way iit works.

Britney Spears and Her Children

I chose that title for this post because it seems like nobody is talking about Britney Spears, mother of two, very much these days. For someone who had previously expressed the intention of FOCUSING on her kids, Britney seems to be doing just the opposite.

There are plenty of examples of recording artists either taking a long hiatus to raise their young children or arranging their work schedule in such a way that they can take the kids with them. Sarah MacLaughlin and Nellie Furtado come to mind.

BUG

Here is a poster for the movie about a cartoon bug who overcomes great odds to save the day...

...NOT.

For the love of everything that you hold dear, do not mistake this shocking new horror film for a happy funny bug movie. The trailer should clarify things for you if you had any doubt. There were too many cute bug movies already anyway. If you really thing about it, when was the last time you saw a cute bug? And how many times have you been repulsed by one?

This trailer tells you a lot about how things go for these character. Not well. I can't wait for the bug movie
to come out on DVD so I can take it on a camping trip. I have watched other movies starring Ashley Judd and she always brings intensity to her roles. Just to get you in the mood for this movie, which appears to be set largely in a motel, bed bugs are a growing problem in NYC. Out in the country there are ticks that carry Lyme disease. Scabies are an microscopic insect that lays it's eggs under the skin of humans and the larva spend their lives there before emerging as adults. Its the circle of life. I prefer this goth looking poster to the one at the top of my post.

Britney in Las Vegas

This guy has a fairly good camera. I think that given the fact that Britney is dancing to a pre-recorded track, a little post production might be in order. You could just sync the old album tracks to the video and have perfect sound quality.

Save on Dells

I would have to say that my favorite online store to shop at with online coupons codes is Dell.

It's not just so I can say the whole Dude phrase when the courier rolls up to the door with a Dell. There are real significant savings on current models of laptops and PC's. CouponChief features a host of popular retailers, over 1000. And they now feature 'How To' videos for those of us that have occasional clueless moments.

Oh, the other reason I picked Dell as my favorite retailer on CouponChief is that their stuff works well and they have always met my expectations. I am typing this post on a Dell.

Britney's Back , Alright!!!

I was just thinking, Britney doesn't really have to restrict herself to dancing to her own tracks. Some Backstreet Boys tunes would work quite nicely in her set as well.

A lot of reviews are critical of the fact that she doesn't talk to the audience. She could literally have people phone it in with one of those fabricated phone messages from her fragrance promotion.

In all seriousness, I think whoever had the idea of starting small and starting early was pretty smart. People are critical of how little there is to her performance, but they aren't saying that she is failing to deliver, as far as moves and spectacle and basically giving her fans what they want.

Always leave them wanting more.

Listasaurus.com

Check this out. A new classified site is actually paying people to create listings on their site.

Listasaurus.com, with it's launch of the Pay Per Listing Program, is possibly the first online classifieds site that pays members to list your ads. Listasaurus has online classifieds and a business directory for every city and town in America. Garage sales, free stuff, jobs, homes, cars and more can be listed at affordable prices. Listasaurus has a wider reach than print ads.

Check out the Free Stuff section. It is entertaining. There is a large Mexican hat available. There is also a bike helmet. If the hat is large enough to fit over the bike helmet, all my dreams can finally come true.

San Diego Performance

Britney did not perform any new material when doing her 15 minutes of lip synching. Maybe they forgot to put any new recorded material on the bus and they were so late becasue they had the go find a CD in a Walmart bargain bin. Of course it is possible that the new material isn't very good.

I watched clips of the show. I have seen better performances during lunch hour at high school, except I'm way older than Britney so it was lip synching to Madonna. I thank my lucky stars that I never have to witness these things live again.

Eat Shrimp

My empathy for Britney Spears, such as it is, stems mostly from our country upbringing. I didn't grow up in Louisiana but spicy Creole food is something I can identify with.

The recipe that got my mouth watering is Shrimp Creole. Write it down so you don't forget anything. I didn't get around to reciting the recipe on my video, I was too busy singing the praises of shrimp. You can find this and other Shrimp Recipes at EatShrimp.com :)

Waiting for Ruben...

Ruben is a guy who used to run one of the busiest Britney Spears Fansites on the net. He got some press for coming out of the closet as an one of the many ex-fans who were really disappointed in Britneys tragic inability to deal with life.

His other project, aptly called That Other Blog, is a exercise in post fandom reality. I like his writing style and the cautiously hopeful attitude that he has taken about the post rehab Britney.

His most recent post is about Britney's first actual performance in recent memory. I will return to his blog after he gets the chance to review her performance in his home town. There is already loads of reviews and pictures of last night's San Diego show.

A synopsis of the House of Blues performance:

Britney was not engaging.

Britney looked pretty good.

Britney can dance.

I haven't found a review of the music. It's not about the music. I think at this point the music selection is a about as important as it is for a figure skating routine. Half the people watching are just waiting for somebody to fall down.

Britney Spears at Taco Bell Drive Thru

I have to wonder if it is at all possible that these trips for a calorie fix are some kind of product placement. Britney should really have her own crew filming her life for a possible sequel to Chaotic. I have never watched an episode of Chaotic, so I don't know if there was much product placement beyond Pepsi. Does Pepsico OWN TacoBell?

A Prank

A fun loving company called .Com Marketing Interactive Ad Agency wanted me to portray my best prank in recent memory. I did a very bad thing last Christmas. I was a member of a fan forum and some people had gotten personal cards from the celebrity. One of them was being a little egotistical about it. He had posted a picture of the card he received. I took his picture and used it to create one of my own with very, very personal and appreciative comments 'handwritten' on the card. This was mostly to entertain the other members and I made no attempt to be convincing with my forgery. If anyone desperately needs to see my handywork, just leave a comment.
